This past Wednesday May 17th we held a special general meeting to vote on the change of our purpose announced on May 13, 2021.
To ensure all members have a chance to vote, and to comply with the 7 days notice required for Special General Meetings, email voting from members will be accepted until May 20, 2021 at midnight EST.

Best-selling Author and Animator Has Donated to Spectrum Productions!
Jenny Story, author of Dysnomia: Outcasts On a Distant Moon, has given us at Spectrum a great deal of support! She is a Vancouver FIlm School Graduate and an acclaimed animator, so she definitely understands what goes into filmmaking and she has donated $500!
This hard-working Community Creator has a brand-new series, Viking Hill!
Tristan Maroun, aka Game Success on youtube, has been reviewing animated TV shows and movies for more than two years. He has also made Life is a Stinker at Spectrum and has contributed to many other projects at the studio. Outside the studio, he hosts Tristanimation Reviews and has started work on his own animated series, Viking Hill.
CREATORS SPOTLIGHT ALEX KOWALCZYK
Alex is a visual artist and an animator, who joined Spectrum Productions in 2017. He started drawing at a very young age, in elementary school. Over the years, he’s created a series of pencil portraits of Historical and Mythical characters. he loves listening to music and is inspired by history. Currently, he has an ongoing animated series called Quotations by Famous People, and has also completed two documentary shorts on Russian history.
Summer Video Camp - Job Applications Now Open!
We have received funding for 11 Canada Summer Job positions to support our video production camps this summer. Every year, Spectrum Productions runs a summer video camp and hires 11 filmmakers and artists with various backgrounds to mentor the camp participants and create short films together.

CREATORS SPOTLIGHT Jérémie Dufour
Jeremie est scénariste et réalisateur chez Productions Spectrum depuis 2018. Il fait des films depuis qu’il ai 16 ans. En 2018, il a réalisé son premier court-métrage pour Spectrum qui s’appelle Papa et a été accepté au festival FICL à Lévis (Québec). C’est la première fois qu’il a dirigé des comédiens professionnels lors d’une fiction.

Hello everyone! My name is Sierra Lynne and I was born in Vernon, British Columbia on October 8th 1997. If you’re wondering how I came all the way from BC to QC, it was very coincidental. As you may know, Dan is from Salmon Arm, BC, just an hour away from my hometown and we had a family friend connection. My grandparents are friends with Dan’s parents Rick and Reina and in 2015, my mom and my grandpa were visiting them. My grandpa brought up that I was autistic and my mom mentioned I had been in acting classes for five years at that point and that I was very interested in filmmaking. When my mom came home she encouraged me to sign up for the advanced camp as soon as I could. I was very interested in participating, as I had always wanted to travel to the other side of the country…
