ROBERT GIROLAMI
ACTOR, WRITER
My name is Robert Girolami and I am an actor and writer. I was born in Montréal, Quebec on January 16 1996. I have been part of Spectrum Productions since the summer of 2010. Apart from performing in films and writing them, I would like to continue expanding my skills through behind-the-scenes work, like editing, camera, software and boom mike. In short, I want to learn everything I can here at Spectrum Productions. I'm a graduate from the professional theatre program at Dawson College. Also, I like to expand my skills in acting and writing. I like to try out motion capture work as well.
My goal is to eventually become a professional actor, doing voice work, motion capture, commercials, films, and television. I also love to write and would love to produce an original story that I have written. I am currently writing a murder mystery play that I dream will one day be performed live on stage.
My favourite movies are The Big Lebowski, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Star Wars. My favourite TV shows are The Big Bang Theory, Futurama and LARPS. My favourite video games are Super Mario Bros, Pokémon, Mini Ninjas, and Kingdom Hearts.
My favourite directors are Ryan Coogler, Steven Spielberg and the Coen Brothers. The reason they are my favourite directors is because I like how they portray the characters and how their ideas are expressed on the big screen.

SPECIALIZATION
I want to focus on developing my skills in editing and animation alongside writing, directing, and acting. I hope to have a well-rounded skill set so that I have a lot of variety for what I can do when producing the stories that I write or helping others on their projects.
HOBBIES AND PASSIONS
I like to go out for walks, watch TV, play video games, read manga, but I’m really passionate about writing scripts and acting. When you act it’s like you can express yourself in ways that you never thought you could before. It allows you to see things differently as a different character. The stories the characters take place in are told so realistically that it makes us wonder what we, as regular people, could do during that place and time within the story. I hope to express myself in both as a writer and actor, so that my ideas can be shared to the world.
