STEP 1 : CHOOSE A FILM TO MAKE A MOVIE POSTER OF

This can be anything! A film that you love or a completely made up film

STEP 2 : Think of A TAG LINE

A tagline is essential for a good movie poster, it tells us a little about the film without giving away too much. It should give a tone for the movie. Here a few great examples.

Aladdin - “Imagine if you had three wishes, three hopes, three dreams and they all could come true”

Jurassic Park - “An adventure 65 million years in the making”

Star Trek : The motion picture - “The human adventure is just the beginning”

STEP 3 : CHOOSE A STYLE OF POSTER DESIGN

STEP 4 : Decide on how you will make it

There are many different ways to create a movie poster :

You can draw it with a pencil and paper

Find assets online and composite in photoshop or free software gimp.

You can even cut out images and make a collage

Or, simply take a photo of something that makes sense to the movie.

STEP 5 : ADD TAGLINE AND TITLE TO POSTER DESIGN
