…our 12th Annual Gala and Screening showcasing exciting films produced by the amazing autistic creators from our 2021 virtual summer camps, and featuring special guest appearances, the return of Hot Dogs with Pete Papaioannou of Sweets with Pete fame, and a silent auction!
Join us in celebrating autistic creative talent and the hard work and dedication of all our participants, staff, volunteers, and community partners who have come together to weather a difficult year, create great memories and great films and make 2021 a success.
IT’S OUR BIG FUNDRAISING EVENT OF THE YEAR…
..AND YOUR SUPPORT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!
This past year presented many challenges for us as an organization as we had to quickly pivot how we serve our community within the context of a global pandemic. We really needed the support of our community, and you guys came through in a big way! With your help, we were able to spend 2021 improving and growing our online program opportunities, expanding our virtual one-on-one support options and building our capacity to broaden our reach and impact through our strategic growth initiative - the Spectrum Creative Network. We couldn’t have done this without you!
We can’t wait to take this momentum into 2022 and have set this year’s fundraising goal at $75,000 so we can:
permanently expand our support capacity with new program staff
improve our digital infrastructure and remote access capabilities to facilitate hybrid workflows
build and develop the streams of the Spectrum Creatives Network
train and deliver more freelance jobs through our productions company
continue to pursue our vision to build a strong, healthy, inclusive, resilient community through new projects like our FREE Community Arts Challenges, recently funded by Canadian Heritage!
You can support us in this goal by attending the Gala, making a financial contribution , donating an item for our silent auction or by sharing this event with your friends and family!
Join us Live or Online!
We are excited to be hosting our event LIVE at the Rialto Theatre in Montreal! To attend in person, masks are required inside and please be prepared to show your vaccination passport. With capacity reduced for everyone’s safety, tickets for our in-person event will go fast, but don’t worry! We will also live-stream our event ONLINE via AIRMEET to ensure everyone can attend, including our supporters spread far and wide!
We can’t wait to see you there (and bring your friends, too)!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
5 pm - Doors open and our online social lounge will be live!
Find your table, mingle, meet the filmmakers, bid at the silent auction and sample some delicious hot dogs from our very own Peter Papaioannou of Sweets with Pete.
6 pm - Event starts
Welcome and introductions, sponsor features, guest appearances and presentation of first set of films.
7 pm - Intermission and Silent Auction final bids
Get up, stretch your legs, refill your drinks, grab a snack, check your bids!
7:30 pm – Return to seats
Presentation of second set of films, closing speeches and words of thanks. Event ends at 8:30pm, doors close at 9:00pm.
SILENT AUCTION
Each year our community steps forward to support this important event by donating items for our Silent Auction, and this year we are reaching out to ask you to support us again. IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS, you can donate an item and gain visibility for your brand. Likewise, you can donate as an individual.

AIRMEET
Logging into the event
The link emailed to you before the event will act as an authentication to enter. You will only be required to fill in your name, organization, and designation details to take you straight to the event.
When you enter Airmeet, you can check if the session is live or yet to start. If the session is live, you will directly see the stage/session upon login. If you land in the social lounge, it means that the session is yet to start.
Please make the most out of the social lounge during this time! The area allows you to interact with other participants of the event and hop between tables to meet new people and have conversations. The Social Lounge is active before a live session, during session breaks, and after the live session ends.
Join tables: Typically, an Airmeet virtual table has between two to eight seats each. Once you decide which table you’d like to be seated at, select the “Take a seat” button below the table. If you want to leave the conversation, say bye to the table participants, and click on the “Leave the table” button in the bottom right.
A countdown will be displayed when there are 15 seconds left for the session to commence. Once the session begins, you will no longer be able to access the Social Lounge.
