The Roger Roy Foundation Visits the Spectrum Studio! - La Fondation Roger Roy visite le Studio Spectrum!
Last week we were excited to welcome Carol Ladouceur and Josee Laurendeau from the Roger Roy Foundation to our studio to meet our staff and have a tour of our space!
Based in Montréal, Québec, the Roger Roy Foundation has contributed funds to the Creative Media Lab program at Spectrum since 2017. With their consistent and generous support, we have been able to grow the Creative Media Lab program and expand our impact and reach by
Increasing the number of spaces for individual attendance,
Improving the ratio of mentorship and support to participants,
Creating meaningful employment opportunities for young autistic professionals, and
Strengthening our online presence and the visibility of autistic creative talent through our Creator Profiles and Creator's corner interviews
We are so proud of the hard work and dedication of our Creative Media Lab team and its participants who have grown significantly in their skills and confidence, and we are so grateful for the role The Roger Roy Foundation has played in making that happen.
We look forward to continuing to build our relationship and empowering more autistic artists will the skills they need to follow their passions in film and media production and the arts!
La semaine dernière, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir Carol Ladouceur et Josee Laurendeau de la Fondation Roger Roy dans notre studio pour rencontrer notre personnel et visiter notre espace!
Établie à Montréal, au Québec, la Fondation Roger Roy contribue au programme Labo Média Créatif de Spectrum depuis 2017. Grâce à leur soutien constant et généreux, nous avons pu faire croître le programme Labo Média Créatif et accroître notre impact et notre portée en:
Augmentant le nombre de places pour les participants;
Améliorant le ratio de mentorat et de soutien aux participants;
Créant des possibilités d’emploi intéressantes pour les jeunes professionnels autistes;
Renforçant notre présence en ligne et la visibilité des talents créatifs autistes grâce à nos profils de créateurs et à nos entrevues du coin des créateurs
Nous sommes très fiers du travail acharné et du dévouement de notre équipe du Labo Média Créatif et de ses participants, qui ont considérablement accru leurs compétences et leur confiance en eux, et nous sommes très reconnaissants du rôle que la Fondation Roger Roy a joué pour y parvenir.
Nous nous réjouissons à la perspective de continuer à construire notre relation et de donner à plus d’artistes autistes les compétences dont ils ont besoin pour suivre leurs passions dans la production cinématographique et médiatique et les arts!
