In a post-apocalyptic world of nuclear winter, Dr. Shawking and Dr. Bonell have two very different visions of how to save humanity from mortal radiation. Dr. Shawking opts for mutation, creating and keeping mutants in his lab against their will. Desperate to regain their human form, mutants, Slay Myers and Wolf escape the lab and turn to Dr. Bonell, who is working on a harmless method to fight radiation. Meanwhile, Dr. Shawking sends GodLizard, another monster creation of his, to retrieve his escaped mutants. Will science succeed in saving the planet? And most importantly, how far will science go in the pursuit of its seemingly noble goals?

Dans un monde post-apocalyptique où règne un hiver nucléaire, Dr Shawking et Dr Bonell ont des approches très différentes pour sauver l’humanité des dangers mortels de la radiation. Dr Shawking choisit la voie des mutations : dans son laboratoire, il crée des mutants humains et les garde prisonniers contre leur gré. Désespérés et désireux de retrouver leur humanité, les mutants Slay Myers et Wolf s’enfuient du laboratoire et demandent l’aide du Dr Bonell, qui développe une méthode sans danger pour contrer les effets de la radiation. Pendant ce temps, Dr Shawking envoie GodLizard, une autre de ses créatures monstrueuses, pour capturer les mutants évadés. La science permettra-t-elle à l’humanité de sauver la planète? Et surtout, jusqu’où la science ira-t-elle pour atteindre ses objectifs, même les plus nobles en apparence ?
