Spectrum Productions is thrilled to partner with La Fenêtre, Centre d'immersion aux arts for the live broadcast of Episode 2 of Spectrum Live Season 2.
“It’s a partnership that made sense from the very start because our missions are so aligned,” said Merilin Paart, Director of Spectrum Live Season 2. Paart first connected with Sébastien Goyette Cournoyer, La Fenêtre’s Artistic Coordinator, through a mutual friend in early 2022. “Spectrum Live opened up the perfect opportunity to reach out and collaborate because one of our goals was to include artists from across Quebec,” she continued.
Together with Guillaume Dufour Morin, La Fenêtre’s Executive director, they quickly identified common goals and potential ways to collaborate.
La Fenêtre, Centre d'immersion aux arts is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create opportunities for social inclusion for people with disabilities through the arts and culture. For 25 years, they have been offering workshops and courses in a wide variety of areas ranging from visual arts, painting and drawing, to singing, creative writing and video art. Their mandate is to promote the art of their participants through public events, exhibitions and shows.
“Spectrum Productions came to visit us at La Fenêtre to make a film about people on the autism spectrum that are part of our organization. We also watched Spectrum’s last Gala online with our video art group and were inspired by the works created by Spectrum participants”, said Goyette Cournoyer. “Since we had just completed our first Fan Movies project, we saw a great way to collaborate with Spectrum and share the videos made by the participants of the video art class.”
You can take a peek into the studio at La Fenêtre and meet some of the people that work and create there as we broadcast Episode 2 LIVE from their location in Trois-Rivieres! “We are very much looking forward to the diversity of films that Spectrum will share. We are also excited to watch the short documentary that was made about La Fenêtre!”, said Goyette Cournoyer.

Productions Spectrum est ravie de s'associer à La Fenêtre, Centre d'immersion aux arts, pour la diffusion en direct de l'épisode 2 de la saison 2 de Spectrum Live.
"C'est un partenariat qui a pris tout son sens dès le départ, car nos missions sont tellement alignées ", a déclaré Merilin Paart, directrice de Spectrum Live Saison 2. Paart est entrée en contact avec Sébastien Goyette Cournoyer, coordonnateur artistique de La Fenêtre, par l'entremise d'un ami commun au début de 2022. "Spectrum Live a été l'occasion idéale de tendre la main et de collaborer, car l'un de nos objectifs était d'inclure des artistes de tout le Québec", poursuit-elle.
Avec Guillaume Dufour Morin, directeur général de La Fenêtre, ils ont rapidement identifié des objectifs communs et des possibilités de collaboration.
La Fenêtre, Centre d'immersion aux arts est une organisation à but non lucratif dont la mission est de créer des opportunités d'inclusion sociale pour les personnes handicapées à travers les arts et la culture. Depuis 25 ans, il propose des ateliers et des cours dans une grande variété de domaines allant des arts visuels, de la peinture et du dessin au chant, à l'écriture créative et à l'art vidéo. Son mandat consiste à promouvoir l'art de ses participants par le biais d'événements publics, d'expositions et de spectacles.
"Productions Spectrum est venu nous rendre visite à La Fenêtre pour réaliser un film sur les personnes autistes qui font partie de notre organisation. Nous avons également regardé le dernier gala de Spectrum en ligne avec notre groupe d'art vidéo et nous avons été inspirés par les œuvres créées par les participants de Spectrum", a déclaré Goyette Cournoyer. "Comme nous venions de terminer notre premier projet Fan Movies, nous avons vu une excellente façon de collaborer avec Spectrum et de partager les vidéos réalisées par les participants du cours d'art vidéo.”
Vous pouvez jeter un coup d'œil dans le studio de La Fenêtre et rencontrer certaines des personnes qui y travaillent et créent, alors que nous diffusons l'épisode 2 EN DIRECT de leurs locaux à Trois-Rivières ! "Nous sommes très impatients de découvrir la diversité des films que Spectrum partagera. Nous sommes également impatients de regarder le court documentaire qui a été réalisé sur La Fenêtre", a déclaré Goyette Cournoyer.
