As 2024 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on an incredible year filled with creativity, growth and meaningful impact within the autism creative community that we serve.
Our small film production company has made significant strides on a variety of fronts, from reinforcing our organizational capacity and sustainability to providing more and better opportunities for autistic filmmakers to share their stories. Through it all, we have had the benefit of an insightful and supportive community whose involvement has always been instrumental in our success.
This year we were able to:
Complete a studio remodel and renovation to create a space that better suits the needs of our community
Introduce a new 5-day staff training course covering support work, teambuilding, and our virtual and physical studio workspaces
See the work of our filmmakers featured in film festivals including the international Focus on Ability Short Film Festival and Festival International de Cinéma Adapté de Montréal (FICAM).
Launch a BRAND NEW YouTube Channel called Spectrum Studios to feature regular releases of original creative work by autistic artists from our studio and beyond (subscribe!!).
Directly serve over 170 autistic youth and young adults with programs and opportunities!
This year we have set our fundraising goal at $100,000 so we can continue to build on our successes and pursue our vision to build a strong, healthy, inclusive, resilient community across Canada and beyond that celebrates and values autistic creative talent.

We are excited to be hosting our event LIVE at the Rialto Theatre in Montreal! We will also live-stream our event ONLINE via AIRMEET to ensure everyone can attend, including our supporters spread far and wide!

AIRMEET
Logging into the event
The link emailed to you before the event will act as an authentication to enter. You will only be required to fill in your name, organization, and designation details to take you straight to the event.
When you enter Airmeet, you can check if the session is live or yet to start. If the session is live, you will directly see the stage/session upon login. If you land in the social lounge, it means that the session is yet to start.
Please make the most out of the social lounge during this time! The area allows you to interact with other participants of the event and hop between tables to meet new people and have conversations. The Social Lounge is active before a live session, during session breaks, and after the live session ends.
Join tables: Typically, an Airmeet virtual table has between two to eight seats each. Once you decide which table you’d like to be seated at, select the “Take a seat” button below the table. If you want to leave the conversation, say bye to the table participants, and click on the “Leave the table” button in the bottom right.
A countdown will be displayed when there are 15 seconds left for the session to commence. Once the session begins, you will no longer be able to access the Social Lounge.
