Driven by the desire to help young people with autism fulfill their untapped potential, Spectrum was launched in 2009 to provide an inclusive environment where participants could develop digital skills as a pathway to pursue their passions in media and video production, either as a hobby or a profession.

Over the years, Spectrum has evolved into a studio offering year-round programming that has reached over 600 participants on the autism spectrum. Our year-round programs, targeting ages 8-35, are tailored to each individual’s interests and capacities. The only entrance requirement is to have an interest in media creation.  Our programming model covers videography, 2D and stop motion animation, scriptwriting, editing and post-production techniques that are tailored to each individual’s needs and interests.
